The
Welch Casket Factory is being constructed in Loretto,
TN. This is a picture of the foundation form completion. The
dirt work and the foundation creation are the most critical
phases of a well constructed Metal Building. Drainage and soil
shifting problems are extremely difficult to correct under a
completed building. Doss Brothers takes
great pride in building sites with proper drainage and soil
compaction.
This
picture shows the underground plumbing and electrical trenches
that will hold the services for the Welch Casket Factory Metal
Building. Doss Brothers has
all the latest laser survey machinery to ensure that the
positions of all service is at the specified construction
location for a smooth build out of the interior after the Metal
Building has been dried in.
This
picture shows the pre-engineered Metal Building already on site.
Whenever the concrete floor slab has properly cured, the Metal
Building Erection Crew will lift the steel girders into place
using a Doss Brothers Boom Truck. As
soon as the metal girders are securely in place, the roof and
side panels will be installed for a complete dry in for the
building.
The
metal building construction for a new casket manufacturing
facility in Loretto, TN is complete. Welch Properties are the
owners and will use this facility to produce "wooden"
caskets.
The building was erected with an
expandable end wall. An
expandable end wall allows future expansion of the
building with little effort, and the materials can be re-used on
any additions. The project was completed on time and within
